Throughout the years, besides the software development activity which is its primary role, SERPRO has specialized in providing technical assistance for all type of statistical data processing tasks. These surveys and seminars were carried out under contract with organizations and private companies such as The World Bank, Macro International Inc., Michigan State University , University of Essex and the United Nations. All these projects implied a full responsibility for the processing of the survey data, including the software development, training of IT staff and monitoring the overall data entry and editing of data. In most DHS surveys, the production of some 120 sophisticated tables was also carried out. |
